The Honorable Order of The Blue Goose International

Our Charities

The Make A Wish Foundation, is the largest wish granting organization in the nation.  Their goal is to enrich the lives of children suffering from life threatening diseases by providing for them their hearts deepest wish.

In the past 21 years, the foundation has granted over 200,000 wishes, a wish every 40 minutes.

Westchester Pond is proud to continue it's support for the Make A Wish Foundation.

Rosary Hill, a 72-bed skilled nursing facility operated by the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne. The Home is dedicated to providing palliative care to persons afflicted with incurable cancer.

Rosary Hill is a free home for persons who cannot afford to pay for care. No payment of any kind is accepted from patients or their families, nor from the government.

In accordance with their Rule, the Sisters place their trust in the loving providence of God. That trust has never failed. Donations large and small, from groups and individuals, have provided the necessary funds to support the work.

The Home was established in 1901 by the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne. Over the past 100 plus years, the Sisters have lovingly served the special end-of-life needs of our patients and their family members.

THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH

Always be yourself because the people that matter

don't mind...

and the ones that mind,

don't matter.

About Us

We are a Fraternal Organization of men and women who work in the Insurance Industry.

The Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, International was founded in 1906, in Green Lakes, Wisconsin, and is a worldwide fraternal organization of individuals who work within the insurance industry. As Ganders, we are members of Ponds located throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.

The Cardinal Elements of the Order are to build character, charity, and fellowship.  In instilling these qualities in its members, the Order uses the attributes observed by the actual Blue Goose.  Some of the Blue Goose guidlines are courage, wisdom, and faithfulness. There is fellowship, education, charity, and leadership in our organization.

One of the strengths of this organization is its membership, which represents a broad spectrum of the insurance industry.  Membership in the Blue Goose offers the unique opportunity to associate with others in the insurance industry in a relaxed, informal setting.  We are genuine friends looking to grow in our profession and leadership and to help those in need.

You will find character, chairty, and fellowship in abundance among a welcoming group of friends.  A place is always opened for you.  Please join us!    Contact us now
